Straight from the archives, with a little Studio Bladel drama.
The Clarimond Earrings are based on an ornamental pattern found in Studies in Design, a book published in 1875. I pulled the historic motif from the page and reworked it into a statement earring that keeps all that beautiful Victorian-era detail while feeling completely wearable now.
The design pairs deeply engraved cherry wood with luminous gold mirror acrylic, layering warm natural texture with just enough shine. The scalloped edges, radiating lines, and intricate engraving give Clarimond the feeling of some tiny decorative object you might uncover in an antique shop and immediately need to take home.
A little piece of design history, made to be worn.
Cherry wood is a natural material, so the grain and color will vary slightly from pair to pair. Those variations are part of the design and make every set uniquely yours.
Vintage lovers, antique-store wanderers, design and architecture enthusiasts, museum days, maximalists, history nerds, and anyone who likes their jewelry to come with a good story.
