The I Would Die for My Country Philadelphia Risograph Print is a love letter to Philly with a little history, a little attitude, and a very dramatic eagle. Inspired by vintage ephemera, the design pairs an antique-style eagle illustration with one of my favorite Philadelphia phrases: “I would die for my country Philadelphia.”

There’s a little piece of local design history tucked in, too. PHILADELPHIA is set in Philadelphian, a typeface patented in 1867 by Philadelphia type foundry MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan.

Each piece is risograph printed locally, giving the artwork the rich color, subtle texture, and perfectly imperfect character that makes riso printing so special. Choose Kelly Green for a not-so-subtle nod to the Birds, or Gray for classic Philly devotion without the game-day allegiance.
